​Owner

Samantha is the Founder of Plush Perfect Events, where creativity, connection, and thoughtful details come together to create unforgettable experiences. With more than a decade in the events and hospitality industry, she brings big-picture vision, contagious energy, and a hands-on approach to every program. Samantha is passionate about building strong relationships, creating an incredible team, and continually raising the bar. Outside of Plush, you’ll find her with her family, preferably somewhere near the water, embracing life as a mom, entrepreneur, and firm believer in working hard and playing hard.

Julie Thorton
​director of event design

Born and raised in Southern California, Julie has always had a passion for creativity and bringing ideas to life. With a background in graphic and interior design, she brings a thoughtful eye for detail and a strong sense of style to her role at Plush Perfect Events, transforming each client’s vision into a memorable experience. Outside of work, Julie loves exploring new places and going on adventurous day trips with her son, Jameson.

Kathryn Hobbs

Coast-to-coast, Kathryn brings over 15 years of hospitality expertise to every event she touches. Now based in Orange County, her background spans luxury hotels, destination venues, and high-profile programs. A true connector, she’s known for bringing visions to life with effortless grace, heart, elevated precision, and a signature sense of calm that defines #ThePlushWay.

Chelsea Comiskey
​Senior manager, Events & Experiences

Chelsea is a SoCal native with a magic touch for creating unforgettable experiences. A master planner with an eye for detail, she’s passionate about curating seamless events that leave a long lasting impression. Her talents are the perfect match for Plush Perfect Events and we know our clients will feel very supported with Chelsea on the team.

Kelly Markota

Los Angeles-based Kelly brings 18 years of event experience spanning weddings, entertainment, sports, and corporate programs. A proud Type A Virgo, she’s known for catching every detail, embracing a challenge, and transforming big ideas into unforgettable experiences. Her trusted vendor partners have become some of her closest allies, allowing her to bring creativity, collaboration, and a little LA magic to every event she touches, with thoughtful precision and a knack for making the extraordinary feel effortless.

Christine Hoang

From Southern California to NYC and back, Christine brings a global perspective and a passion for creating experiences that people remember. With a background spanning international events, corporate programs, luxury hospitality, and brand experiences, she thrives on transforming ambitious ideas and complex logistics into seamless moments. Known for anticipating the details others might miss, Christine brings creativity, resourcefulness, and a calm-under-pressure approach to every program and a genuine commitment to making every experience exceptional.

Dani Lee Landa was the heart and visionary behind Plush Perfect Events. As co-founder and CEO, she helped build the company on a belief that experiences should be intentional, thoughtful, and rooted in genuine care for people.
Dani led with creativity, authenticity, and kindness, shaping not only the events Plush created but the culture that defines the company today. She believed deeply in empowering her team and fostering meaningful relationships with clients and partners, ensuring every experience felt personal and purposeful.
